Jelly Roll has revealed that he's scared to step on the scales after he "lost his way" on his weight-loss journey.

Speaking in a YouTube video, the country star shared that he'd decided to "enjoy the holidays" before breaking his collarbone at the end of last year, meaning he had to stop running, walking and exercising for a period of time.

"We hit the goal, and it was right before the holidays, so I was like, 'You know what, man, I've been working hard for the last three years losing this weight, I'm going to enjoy the holidays,'" he shared.

The musician added, "I had a big Thanksgiving meal, I had a big birthday meal, I ate a big Christmas meal. Kinda got off the rails."

The Need a Favour singer, whose real name is Jason DeFord, started his fitness plan over two years ago in 2023 when he weighed over 500lbs (227kg). He then starred on the cover of Men's Health for the magazine's Winter 2026 issue after dropping 275lbs (125kg).

Jelly Roll admitted that he had since been avoiding the scales.

"I have, to some degree, lost my way. Avoiding weighing in has been the problem," he confessed.

The singer, who is married to podcaster Bunnie XO, plans to continue his weight-loss journey and wants to run the New York City Marathon in November.

"I've never ran a marathon or thought about running a marathon," he noted.
