Jay-Z has announced a London date for his Jay-Z 30 concert series, which celebrates his 30-year career in music.
The rapper and record executive will perform at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 4 September as part of the series, which celebrates three decades since the release of his landmark debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
The London performance will mark Jay-Z's only U.K. show of the year and joins previously announced dates at Stade de France in Paris on 10 September and Los Angeles' So-Fi Stadium on 23 October.
The concert series is set to officially begin this week with a three-night hometown residency at New York's Yankee Stadium, marking several major milestones from across the hip-hop icon's career.
Friday's opening show will coincide with the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, the album that launched the rapper's career in 1996. Saturday's performance will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his acclaimed sixth studio album, The Blueprint, while Sunday's Extra Innings finale show will bring the opening run to a close.
The celebrations began in June with a series of commemorative events, including physical exhibits, fan activations and time-entry museum experiences in Brooklyn, paying tribute to Jay-Z's influence on music and culture over the past three decades.
Since releasing his debut album, Jay-Z has become one of hip-hop's most successful and influential figures, earning 25 Grammy Awards to date and building a legacy that extends beyond music through his business ventures and cultural impact.
Tickets for the London show will go on sale through a presale on 9 July, with general ticket sales beginning on 10 July.
