One month after Jock Zonfrillo's tragic and sudden passing, his wife has shared an emotional video to fans.
Lauren Fried posted the vid to Jock's Instagram account, which she helped to run. She opened the video by sharing that the sudden death of her partner is still, understandably, affecting her deeply even though she thought she would've made progress by now.
"It's been a month now since we lost Jock and I put a line in the sand thinking that at the one-month mark, I would turn some sort of a corner," she began the video. "Obviously that hasn't happened."
"There's no time that I could allocate to say thank you to everyone. I just am overwhelmed by the messages that came in from people all over the world that knew him or didn't know him."
"I really wish that he knew how loved he was and he knew the impact that he had on so many people."
Lauren then said she and Jock worked "really hard on his social media", adding that he had so many projects going on and she doesn't know whether to share them or not.
"He's got a lot of behind-the-scenes interviews and photos from MasterChef, he's got books, a fashion range, he's got spirits ageing in a distillery in Tassie," she said.
"He's got a TV show he filmed in Italy last year with the family. and somehow, we will work out whether there's a path forward here or if we don't do anything [on social media] at all. But thanks again, and I will manage this channel from now on, and I'll respond to as much as I can. Thank you."
Since his passing, many tributes have flooded in from fans, friends, and associates of Jock.
We want to wish Lauren and all of Jock's closest all the best as they navigate their loss and grief.
