Hundreds of people dressed up as Ozzy Osbourne at a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans over the weekend, and it’s just more proof that the world is continuing to remember him.

In a viral video, 225 members of a crew called the Dead Rock Stars are seen marching through the city during the parade, complete with a float, banners, and matching Ozzy Osbourne costumes. Sharon wasn’t forgotten about either, with the Grand Marshal on the float dressed as her.

And Sharon approves, sharing the clip of all the Ozzys on her Instagram story.

The Dead Rock Stars group is an all-male dance crew that gets together once a year for the Muses parade during Mardi Gras, as per their Facebook page. Each year they honour a late rock icon, and this time there was “only ever going to be one choice.

Stephen Rea, who was good mates with Ozzy for more than four decades, and author of ‘Ozzy and Me’ was among those dressed up. He told the BBC, “There was only ever going to be one choice this year... The greatest rock singer the world's ever seen.”

He added, “I would love to get everybody across for Ozzy's celebration in July in Birmingham. With the one-year anniversary, I think there are plans for that.”

From Birmingham to Bourbon Street, the Prince of Darkness is still being remembered around the world. As he should!
