The first 'Wonka' trailer is here and while Timothee Chalamet looks great, it's Hugh Grant as an Oompa-Loompa stuck in a jar that's stolen the show for me.
The latest remake tells the story of a young Willy Wonka, played by Chalamet, as he sets out to open his own chocolate shop.
"I'm something of a magician, inventor, chocolate maker," Wonka says in the trailer.
Writer-Director Paul King (Who also directed Paddington so you know this is going to be good) shared how he drew inspiration for the film after reading through Roald Dahl's personal archives.
"As a writer, obviously I don't remotely think of myself in the same breath as Roald Dahl, but it was very nice to be so inspired by that."
King went on to share how excited he was to have Chalamet wear the purple jacket and take on the role of Willy Wonka.
"It was a huge commitment for him because it was a very long shoot and there was a lot (of) singing and dancing."
"What's so fabulous about him is you feel a lot of people his age would have been tempted to put on a superhero outfit and then sort of go and save the world," he added. "And I managed to get him to put on a pair of heeled leather boots and do some tap dancing."
The movie features an a-list cast including My Bean's Rowan Atkinson, Key & Peele's Keegan-Michael Key, Matt Lucas, and more but the stand-out in my eyes is Hugh Grant as the equally iconic Oompa-Loompa.
"I will have you know I am a perfectly respectable size for an Oompah Loompa," says Grant in the end of the trailer before giving a lil' dance.
