How do I know I have adult ADHD?

Have you ever wondered if you've been undiagnosed for ADHD?

There has been a lot of talk about adult ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), where adults are learning that for years they have been undiagnosed with ADHD.

International research suggests ADHD affects 5-7% of the population. And while Flynny has never been formally diagnosed, he's had his suspicions that some of his restlessness, forgetfulness and constant need for distraction may be signs of ADHD.

We wanted to get some questions answered about adult ADHD, so we've turned to an expert, Justin Fernandez from the Department of Engineering Science and Auckland Bioengineering Institute at Auckland University.

So, how can you tell you or your partner has ADHD? So how can we help support people with ADHD? Is ADHD inherited? And how can you tell the difference in kids between bad behaviour and ADHD?

While Flynny can't be officially diagnosed, hear what Dr Justin has to say about some of his possible symptoms, and what it takes to get a proper diagnosis in our podcast exclusive chat with him.
