The Edge Afternoons with Sharyn, Steph and Nickson is going to become just The Edge Afternoons, as today we heard from Nickson that he'll be moving on from The Edge.
"Tomorrow is gonna be my last show here on The Edge" he said this afternoon. "I genuinely love and respect everyone here, and I have had a great time over the last two years."
During his time on the 'The Edge Afternoons with Sharyn, Steph and Nickson', Nickson overcame his fear of water by swimming his first 50 metres, grilled some NZ politicians ahead of the election, mowed the lawns at Eden Park and tried to cancel chickens.
Of course, he also brought a LOT of lols and made the show so great.
"It's been a fun ride and I can't thank you enough for welcoming me with open arms when I first started here," he added.
"I've learnt so much - I've learnt more than I ever thought I'd learn about Taylor Swift.
"But as much as I joke about it, I just wanna show all the love in the world to everyone who listens to the show in the afternoons." Nickson also shouted out the big boss Casey, and all the friendships he's going to treasure forever, including with Sharyn and Steph, who he called his sisters.
Ofc, things got super emotional, but Nickson bought it back down to earth in his own classic way:
"I know I wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but you'll all get over that."
We are gonna miss Nickson in the afternoons so much, and are sending him all the good vibes for his next adventure in life. Make sure you tune in for his final show tomorrow!
