Hilary Duff claims Aaron Carter 'visited her' amid psychic reading

Hilary Duff has claimed her late ex-boyfriend, Aaron Carter, once visited her during a psychic reading.

The actress-singer and her fellow teen star started dating in 2001, with Aaron even appearing in an episode of her Disney Channel show, Lizzie McGuire. They were in an on-again, off-again relationship for around three years.

During an interview for the Las Culturistas podcast on Wednesday, Hilary reflected on her relationship with Aaron, who died at 34 in November 2022.

"I talked to this psychic on the phone, and she doesn't know who you are when you call. Eventually, she figured it out," she recalled. "She's, like, 'Well, people are gonna start showing up for you. And there's someone here. Aaron, (with) two As.' I was like, 'Oh my God.'"

Hilary recounted asking the psychic whether she was channelling the I Want Candy hitmaker.

"She was, like, 'Sure is. What the hell's he doing here?'" the 38-year-old smiled. "I was like, 'Well, that's my childhood boyfriend. And that would make sense to me.' And, she's like, 'Are you Hilary Duff?'"

And while Hilary declined to share the message Aaron gave her, she did describe the reading as a "really wild experience".

Elsewhere in the candid chat, the Mature hitmaker shared that she remains friends with Aaron's twin sister, Angel Carter.

"Our kids go to the same school," she added. "She's a lovely, literal angel of a person. We're very close. We talk about Aaron often."

Hilary shares daughters Banks, seven, Mae, four, and Townes, 22 months, with her husband Matthew Koma, and son Luca, 13, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
