Here's a few boujee cocktails you can do at home for a lot less

Become the favourite of all your mates.

If you're sick of drinking shitty RTDs, or you'd just love to start actin' boujee and drink some nice cocktails (but don't have the cash to make legit ones), we've put together a few recipes of mock cocktails you can do if you're ballin' on a budget!

Margarita

What you need:

  • Tequila

  • Lime juice

  • Sprite

The Margarita is a fairly easy one to mimic, seeing as you can serve it either blended, on the rocks, or even just as is. A decent ratio to follow is 1 : 3 : 4 which works for either version of the Margarita.

To add a lil somethin', somethin' to ya drink, have a lime slice as a garnish, squeeze it across the rim and tip the rim of glass with salt.

Sangria

What you need:

  • White rum

  • Orange juice

  • Sprite

  • Red WIne

  • Orange slices/other fruits

In order of listed ingredients, the ratio should be 1 : 1 : 2 : 3

Red wine as a mixer might sound hectic but that's the whole point of Sangria... Red wine baby! We'd recommend cutting up as much fruit as possible for the garnish. Nothing makes a Sangria look more... Sangria-y than a bunch of summer fruits. Yeow!

Mojito

What you need:

  • White rum

  • Lime juice

  • Sprite

  • Mint leaves

The ideal ratio for this one is 1 : 3 : 4

The key to the Mojito that sets it apart from other cocktails is the mint leaves. It's simply a must to have that crisp and not a Mojito without them.

Sex On The Beach

What you need:

  • Vodka

  • Orange juice, cranberry juice

  • Peach fizzy

Sex On The Beach is probably not your usual order, but it sounds cool AF and is actually super easy to dupe. The ideal ratio (in order of list) probably being 1 : 2 : 2 : 3

Chuck a wee pineapple wedge in there too for a garnish. That's it!

Piña Colada

What you need:

  • White rum

  • Coconut milk

  • Pineapple juice

If you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, you're in luck! This exotic number only needs a simple blend to make it what it is, use the ratio 1 : 2 : 3 and you can just add sugar in according to your taste.
