Liam and Luke Hemsworth have been seen pictured helping flood victims with the cleanup following the severe flooding in Lismore.
While locals have become frustrated at the lack of support from the government following the disaster, the Hemsworth brothers have stepped up to the plate as they are seen sifting through debris and helping with the cleanup efforts.
Local Ben Gordon posted photos of the cleanup efforts, featuring two of the Hemsworth brothers, captioned "Luckily we have a very strong and supportive community that is showing up big time. Let's keep it going and do what we can to help."
In the post, you can see Luke helping to pile debris and the final video shows Liam help to clear out a damaged house.
The brothers, Liam and Luke, who reside in Byron Bay, were also seen volunteering at a local town hall sorting through damaged property.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky was trapped inside their Byron home with the couple's three children as floodwaters rose, while Chris is currently filming overseas.
The Hollywood power couple both shared Instagram posts about the devastating floods, highlighting the amazing work of local volunteers.
Chris wrote "Heroic efforts by everyone involved in rescuing thousands of people who have been stranded" while Elsa shared "So amazing to watch how everyone pulls together in a disaster and helps the community."
Huge shoutout to the Hemsworth brothers for getting stuck in and helping out the people that need it most!
