'He didn't need to touch this': David Guetta's remixed another iconic track hasn't he

Davey don't hurt me

After giving Eiffel 65's 'Blue' new life with Bebe Rexha collab 'I'm Good' in 2022, David Guetta is back with another rehash of a dance classic.

This time around, he's taken aim at Haddaway's seminal floor filler 'What Is Love', teaming up with Coi Leray and Anne-Marie to bring us 'Baby Don't Hurt Me'.

To say it's divided the George Breakfast team is an understatement. General Lee didn't mince words when he first heard the track, while Tammy couldn't get enough.

'D-Guetta. He's back. He butchered I'm Blue dub-a-dee dub-a-da, and he's done it again to another 90s big hit,' Lee said on George Breakfast.

A look of utter disgust takes over Lee's face as the hook plays out.

'You didn't need to touch this. He didn't need to touch this. Can't beat the original.'

'I say he butchered it' is Lee's final verdict while Tammy argued it 'needed a remake.'

One final remark from Lee ties a bow on his feelings. 'Baby don't hurt me. Geez, well you're hurting my ears.'
