Harry Styles pens thank-you note to New York as 30-night residency ends

Harry Styles marked the end of his 30-night residency at New York City's Madison Square Garden by writing a thank-you letter in The Village Voice.

The As It Was singer celebrated the end of his historic Together, Together residency on Saturday by teaming up with the Big Apple's long-running news and culture publication for a special commemorative print edition.

The free issue features a message from Harry himself, titled "Letter from a Fan of NYC", in which he thanks the city for hosting him since late August.

"Friends, strangers, citizens of New York, it has been an honour to live and work in your city for the past three months. Thank you for welcoming us and allowing Together, Together a place in the city's rich history," he wrote.

"I had so much fun with this show, which I think was pretty obvious to anyone who came. Somehow it was exactly the way I wanted you to hear Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., in a way that I didn't even realise. The energy of the audiences, the openness, the dancing, the sheer joy, will never leave me; it altered me."

The British singer noted that it was "privilege" to collaborate with The Village Voice to share some insight into the residency.

"It's not the whole story, of course, but it's a little piece we can share right now. I look forward to hearing your stories in the years to come, and sharing mine," he continued. "Until next time, take care of each other, New York. Love, H."

According to Paper magazine, the special print issue also features contributions from Anna Wintour and Harry's tour opener Jamie xx, and spotlights the organisations he supported throughout the residency, including Choose Love, Planned Parenthood, and Food Bank For New York City.

The Aperture singer kicked off his residency on 26 August and concluded with two 'Harryween' shows over the weekend.

The Together, Together tour continues later this month with six shows in Australia. After a hiatus, Harry will resume the tour in April 2027.
