Harry Styles has wrapped up his record-breaking 12-night 'Together, Together' tour residency at London's Wembley Stadium, with a surprise and emotional speech from his sister Gemma Styles.
On Saturday July 4, Styles played to around 80,000 fans for his final sold-out show - the show that secured him a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run.
During the show, Styles’ older sister Gemma took a moment to appreciate her brother's huge success and the community of fans who have been supporting him for over a decade and a half.
“I don’t think of you as this at all in day-to-day life... I think of you as a brother and an uncle and a best friend," she began. "And seeing the incredible community that has formed around you is just indescribable, really."
She went on to thank fans for supporting him over the past 12 nights, and the past 16 years, before describing the moment she dropped him off at his 'X Factor' audition in 2010 - where he later found fame in One Direction.
"I left you over the wall somewhere over there and kind of awkwardly backed away and thought, are you going to be okay? And now, were here!"
"I’m so proud of you,” she added. “And not just proud because you've done things like this, which nobody does...I'm proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be, and just the impact that you've made on so many."
"Thank you for being you, and thanks for letting us watch. Please help me congratulate you on a historic 12 nights at Wembley.”
Harry appeared to be holding back tears during Gemma's kind words, before giving her a loving sibling hug telling the crowd to "make some noise".
During the show Harry took his own moment to reflect on the last 16 years - and pay tribute to his One Direction bandmates.
“I wouldn’t be on this stage if it wasn’t for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey,” he told the crowd.
“I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything… None of this would be possible, I wouldn’t be here without you, thank you so much.”
Liam Payne’s parents, Geoff and Karen, were also spotted in the crowd for the final Wembley show.
Liam died in October 2024, aged 31, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Harry Styles is now set to continue to Brazil, Mexico and the US, before wrapping up in Australia in December.
