'Guilty? No, I don't care': Mastermind behind Kim Kardashian robbery gives shocking interview

Yunis Abbas said the reality star deserved it.

The mastermind behind the Paris robbery that saw Kim Kardashian tied up and held at gunpoint in her hotel room is showing zero remorse, insisting he doesn't feel guilty and implying the reality star deserved what she got.

Six years on from the incident that sent shockwaves throughout the celebrity world, Yunis Abbas has given an insane interview after spending less than 2 years behind bars, insisting Kim was "throwing money away".

Abbas spent a total of 22 months in prison for robbing Kim of USD $10 million worth of jewellery, including her engagement ring from Kanye West.

In conversation with Vice, he goes into detail about how he and his two associates managed to track the mother of four down, and how the night unfolded from his perspective.

Surprisingly, Abbas revealed that he didn't know who Kim Kardashian was at the time, all he had seen of her was the episode of the Kardashians where her diamond earring fell into the ocean.

"I thought this lady has a lot of money, she doesn't care at all!" he said.

"Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it. Guilty? No, I don't care."

Abbas stayed downstairs as the men, dressed as police officers, stormed the room and threatened Kim, who was alone and wearing only her robe. He hung back after being involved in the initial break-in and overpowering the hotel staff. He said that the moment the group decided to back away was when Kim called the US police on 911, it scared the group and caused them to lose a lot of time.

"When we got out, there was a bunch of police outside who didn't know anything about the robbery."

Despite not feeling an ounce of guilt, Abbas does recognise how the traumatic event has impacted Kim saying: "You don't come out of it unscathed. Of course, she must have been traumatised."

Kim has repeatedly spoken about the horrific time and how it has impacted her, and how she thought the night was going to end in her death.

Abbas' final piece of advice to any other influencers is that "they should be less showy" online, because "for some people it's provocative".

Kim has definitely changed her ways by minimalising her jewellery wear, hiring bodyguards for extra security and preventing her exact location from being public knowledge.

It's disgusting that someone can have such little care and remorse for another human being in such a terrible situation that we hope we never see again!
