Lola Young has just won her first-ever Grammy at the 68th Grammy Awards.

Awarded by last year’s recipient, Charli XCX, Lola was awarded the Grammy for ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’.

The ‘Messy’ singer jumped up in total shock and excitement before sprinting toward the stage.

“I don’t know what I’m gonna say because I don’t have a speech prepared,” she began.

“It’s messy,” she said, referencing the winning song.

Lola dropped a hilarious F-bomb before profusely apologising in a panic to the room.

“You can tell by my face that I’m very, very grateful for this. We did it,” she added.

“I love everybody, everybody, everybody.”

Earlier in the night, Lola performed her winning song Messy in a stripped-back piano version that blew us away.

Fans have been celebrating Lola's win, with one fan writing on X: "LOLA YOUNG THE GRAMMY AWARD WINNER THAT YOU ARE ILY QUEEN."

"Lola Young winning best solo pop artist is another massively monumental thing. like the fact that she got big, took a break for her health, and still came back to win a grammy??? such an important precedent for artist health and sustainability. and so deserved tbh," said another.

A third added: "Lola Young just won a grammy for 'Messy' oh bless her heart 🥹. No speech prepared or anything, swearing on stage, oh girl, I'm so happy for you, for real."

It’s no surprise she’s a winner!
