WATCH: Gracie Abrams stops Auckland show to give fan a break up pep talk

“Things get better, I promise.”

Gracie Abrams proved just how much she cares about her fans last night when she stepped off stage mid-show to comfort someone going through a break up.

During her 'The Secret of Us' tour stop at Auckland’s Spark Arena, Gracie saw a tearful fan in the front row and made a beeline straight for her.

In a video shared to TikTok, Gracie is seen asking: “Are you okay?” before giving the fan a tight hug and launching into a wee pep talk.

"Thank you for being here. This next song I wrote when my [ex] boyfriend and I broke up, so at least this might make you feel some kind of [emotional release], you know? I love you," she said.

Things get better, I promise.

She then launched into her very fitting 2020 track 'I miss you, I'm Sorry'.

Gracie’s living proof things do get better, because her current boyfriend, actor Paul Mescal, was spotted in the crowd smiling, filming, and full on boogying along to every song.

If that smile and boogie doesn’t show you the love between them, idk what does.

The two have been enjoying their time in New Zealand exploring some hot spots around Auckland city. There’s even been a bit of speculation the pair might’ve got matching ink at a local tattoo shop.

Gracie's next show is in Sydney on May 2nd - so if they’re still in the country, you’ve still got a good chance for a celeb sighting.
