A video of Gisborne high school choir singing Ben E. King's 'Stand By Me' has been winning hearts all over the world for all obvious reasons.
The melodius singing was shared by Ministry of Education on TikTok as an introduction to the choir group 'Turanga Tane Choral Group'.
"Introducing the Turanga Tane Choral Group from Gisborne Boys' High School šµ Show your support for this TALENTED group of akonga ?" the page wrote on TikTok.
Viewers have been loving their rendition.

The lead singer Salem Randall has been praised for his beautiful singing and "solid voice".

The entire video is a 2 minutes and 8 seconds and it leaves you wanting to hear more of their gorgeous voices.
The Turanga Tane Choral Group from Gisborne Boys High School is supported by the Ministry of Education's Creative in School fund. This group is open to anyone!
Back in 2006 the choir founder Gill Armstrong teamed up with singing coach Andrew Ulugia to form this choir.
"What I love is that they bring joy," choir founder Gill Armstrong told the Education Gazette per Newshub.
With people asking more for a next cover from the Turanga Tane choir, they've shared yet another beautiful cover. This time the choir performed 'Dear Theodosia' by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Earlier this month, another group of Kiwi performers wowed the Internet with their Kapa Haka rendition of Adele's 'Easy On Me'.
Local group 'Angitu' turned performed a powerful Kapa Haka which featured an incredible solo by Awatea Wihongi.
