This year August 31st marks 25 years since Princess Diana tragically passed away.
Billy, son of an Aussie TV personality David Campbell made the bizarre claim that he is the reincarnation of Princess Diana.
Ever since Billy was two years old he had been claiming that he was Princess Diana in his past life.
The 45-year-old shared this story in Stellar Magazine in 2019 describing his writing as the most "weird" thing that he has ever written.
He said, "It started when someone gave my wife Lisa, a card with Lady Di on it".
"Billy (aged two at this time) pointed and said, 'Look! It's me when I was a princess'".
"He started to refer to his two 'boys'".
"When asked what boys, our then three-year-old would say his 'sons'. Ok... strange, but sure, mate."
"To a Scottish friend of ours, he claimed when he was Princess Diana he used to go to a castle in that kilted wonderland. He described the castle as having 'unicorns on it' and was called Balmoral."
"The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland and there are unicorns on the walls, how does he know this???"
It then took a chilling turn when the boy was shown a picture of late Princess Diana. He claimed that he was her and he said "There's me as a princess."
"Then one day the sirens came and I wasn't a princess anymore" he added referring to her death in 1997.
"Obviously Lisa and I turned into Scully and Mulder at this stage and needed to investigate.
"Here is a child with no knowledge whatsoever of the monarchy. How could he?"
David confirmed that there were neither memorabilias in their house nor parental interference. Although his wife is English, she is not as fascinated by the royals. David said he talks more about their Windsor friends to Sonia Kruger on TV than he does with his wife.
He concluded his writing with, "Will Billy grow up and never remember this? Could he actually be the reincarnated essence of the People's Princess?"
According to Daily Star, ever since the declaration in 2019, Billy has not said anything about the reincarnation.
