The Foo Fighters have announced two tribute concerts to honour the late, great drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Following the tragic death of the Foo's drummer, the band understandably cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates to grieve the loss of their bandmate.
Foo Fighters announced the tribute gigs on their social media this morning, saying:
"For our dear friend, our badass bandmate, our beloved brother.Foo Fighters and The Hawkins family bring you the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts."
The two tribute concerts are set for this September, with one at Wembley Stadium in London, and the other at The Kia Forum in LA.
Foo Fighters official website says:
"Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee will come together with the Hawkins family to celebrate the life, music and love of their husband, father, brother and bandmate with The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts."
As well as the band, the concerts will unite several different artists and the Hawkins family.
This is gonna be an incredible tribute for a legendary musician.
