Foo Fighters fans are pretty sure they’ve just caught the band accidentally sharing an unreleased song title.

They shared a 30-second video of a green parrot sitting in front of a stack of Marshall speakers and the band’s logo, with an instrumental tune that has got fans questioning.

It was captioned: ‘About to take flight…’

One fan took to Reddit, showing that when they tried to share the reel to their own Facebook account, it came up with a copyright warning, muting the song used in the original post, which was labeled ‘Asking For A Friend’ by Foo Fighters.

Now that’s suspicious…

To add fuel to the fire, during a Q&A at the Hope In The City Of Angels gala, Dave Grohl said the band was “working on something that’s a bit lift-off at the moment”.

Combine that with the mysterious caption of ‘About to take flight’ - we could be onto something here.

Fans are also speculating whether the green parrot is a hint at an upcoming Brazilian tour, given the significance of the bird to Brazil.

“Does a yellow parrot mean that you're coming to Brazil?” said one user on Instagram.

“IS THIS A CONFIRMATION YOU ARE GOING TO BRAZIL???” another clearly excited fan said.

The most recent single released by the band was their 30th anniversary celebration tune, ‘Today’s Song’, which they released earlier this year.

2023 was the last album release by the band, with ‘But Here We Are’. It would be bloody huge if it were the first album since then, and since Grohl’s public scandal.

There you have it, Foo fans, you may be in for a treat sometime soon…
