Federated Farmers Challenging Politicians In Charity Rugby Match

"We're really blown away by the support," said Williams, emphasizing the importance of community spirit.

After being devastated by Cyclone Gabrielle last year, Gisborne residents will be gathering at the Ngatapa Sports Club this weekend for a spectacular rugby and netball charity event.

Local legend and Federated Farmers Chair of the Meat and Wool Council Toby Williams is lacing up for a good cause.

The fundraiser aims to support farmers reeling from the aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle. Local businesses and individuals are rallying with a charity auction featuring signed sports memorabilia and adventure trips.
