Fans get emotional after watching Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd's touching reunion

"You guys have given me my whole life."

The reunion of Michael J. Fox and his co-star Christopher Llyod 'brought tears to the eyes' of fans after videos from the 'Back to the Future' reunion at New York Comic Con were posted on social media.

The pair shared the stage over the weekend and shared a heart-warming embrace while taking in the applause from fans in the crowd.

Christopher told the crowd the chemistry between the pair "was there from the first scene". "It was alive, and it remained that way for three movies," he said, adding: "It hasn't gone away, by the way."

Meanwhile, Michael took the time to explain to fans why it was important to him to attend the event in person, despite his ongoing battle with Parkinson's Disease.

"You guys have given me my whole life. The best thing that happened in my life was this thing. Parkinson's is a gift."

Michael continued: "I've said to people it's a gift, and they say, 'You're nuts.' I say, yeah, it's the gift that keeps on taking, but it's a gift, and I wouldn't change it for anything"

"It's not about what I have, it's about what I've been given," the star added.

Fans took to social media to share their love and support for Michael.

"This brought tears to my eyes," one Twitter perfectly described the beautiful yet emotional reunion.

"Heartbreaking too in equal measure, Parkinson's is such an awful disease." echoed another.

37 years have passed since the debut of the first movie in 1985 - I know I can't believe it either.

It's obvious that Michael and Christopher have continued to love and support each other on and off-screen throughout the years, and we will always admire both of them for making such an amazing film series!
