Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland has gone on a luxury holiday after his World Cup heartbreak.
The sports superstar, who crashed out of the World Cup when England defeated Norway in early July, has been making the most of his time off before the new Premier League season kicks off later this month.
Over the weekend, the 26-year-old enjoyed a luxury break in the South of France with a bunch of male friends, including PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani.
The group spent time on Kamani's yacht and at the upscale Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Haaland also shared a photo of him meeting basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The Manchester City striker has been close friends with Kamani for years and they have previously been on holidays together in Dubai, Monaco and St Tropez.
The businessman described him as his "brother" on Instagram to celebrate his birthday on 21 July.
"Happy birthday to my brother @erling even better person than you are a footballer and that takes some beating," he wrote on his Instagram Stories alongside a picture of the duo on jet skis.
Responding to the outpouring of birthday wishes, Haaland wrote on Instagram, "Thanks everyone for the love... Life has changed forever! And I love it! Peace out."
Haaland is not involved in Manchester City's three pre-season friendlies in Asia between 1 and 9 August, but is expected to reunite with his squad later this month.
