Emily Atack marries Alistair Garner

Emily Atack has officially tied the knot with her partner of four years, Alistair Garner.

The Rivals and Inbetweeners star shared a series of snaps on her Instagram showing their wedding ceremony on Saturday.

In a caption, the actor wrote, "Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends.

"It was absolutely perfect. I can't believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks' time. Christ, we have fun, don't we," she added, tagging Garner's Instagram account.

The pair are set to enjoy a larger wedding in the coming weeks, as part of a three-day celebration in Spain.

Atack and Garner previously announced their engagement in July last year, sharing a photo in which they were hugging with the caption, "It's Friday, I'm in love," alongside three engagement ring emojis.

When sharing news of her son's birth a year earlier, Atack posted on Instagram, "We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true."

The pair have known each other since they were children, but reconnected in 2022. Garner is the son of Atack's late uncle Dr Stephen Garner, who died that year from cancer. They are step-cousins by marriage but not biologically related.
