A secret tunnel!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show is down to its final days, and the talk show host has revealed she had a purpose-built tunnel installed under the stage so that producers could jump out and unexpectedly scare famous guests.

In a segment giving a behind-the-scenes look at the "anatomy of a scare", executive producer Andy Lassner said the celebrity guests always enjoyed being scared at the show.

"They are always grateful for it. They always love it. Their favourite clip to show the next time they come is 'when you scared me'.

Ellen's 'celebrity scares' became infamous over the years, prompting many a viral video moment and lots of laughs.

Taylor Swift and Sarah Paulson have been two of the main targets, with Taylor being scared a total of 8 times and Sarah Paulson not far behind with 7 (3 within the same episode).

Talk about an adrenaline rush!

The final episode has already been filmed and will air on May 26th.
