Ella Langley celebrates making chart history with Choosin' Texas

Ella Langley was lost for words after discovering Choosin' Texas had made chart history this week.

The hit track has now spent 23 non-consecutive weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You.

Reflecting on making U.S. chart history in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Ella thanked her fans for their ongoing support.

"I'm genuinely trying to find the words to help explain what's going on in my brain today," she began. "Thank you so much for loving this song, for listening to it... I'm running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel."

Ella went on to note that the success of Choosin' Texas hasn't only impacted her life but that of her co-writers: Miranda Lambert, Luke Dick, and Joybeth Taylor.

"Just thank you so much, it's changing my life, it's changing the lives of the writers of this song. It's changing the lives of my family, and it is truly growing an atmosphere for something I'm gonna be able to do the rest of my life," the 27-year-old shared.

And to conclude her heartfelt message, Ella revealed that she was going to toast the success of the song later in the day.

"Today doesn't feel like a real thing," she smiled. "It feels fake and somebody's gonna be like, 'Ha ha, we're kidding the whole time.' I'm gonna go out and celebrate tonight. I'm really excited to just experience a moment like this in my life. Just thank you so much."

In the accompanying caption, the Weren't for the Wind star declared: "23 weeks. Texas forever."

Ella is next set to perform in Knoxville, Tennessee on Thursday.
