Elizabeth Hurley says she knew she'd like Miley before dating Billy Ray

Elizabeth Hurley knew she "was going to like" Miley Cyrus long before she began dating the singer's father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

The British actress and model revealed that she already had a soft spot for the Flowers hitmaker years before she began dating her father, thanks to her son Damian's love of Hannah Montana.

Speaking on the latest episode of Andy Cohen Live, Elizabeth explained that Damian grew up watching Miley's Disney Channel series and listening to her music.

"She's adorable," the 61-year-old gushed of the former Disney star. "I've been lucky to meet some of his kids and they seem fabulous."

When host Andy Cohen asked whether she had known Miley before starting a relationship with the Achy Breaky Heart singer, Elizabeth noted that they had never met but she had long been familiar with her.

"No, I'd never met her, but my son used to love Hannah Montana, so he loved Father Montana," she said of the sitcom, which first aired in 2006 and ran for four seasons. "He loved Miley too, so I always knew who she was, and when he was a young teen, he used to love all her music."

The Bedazzled star added that she had watched Miley's music videos countless times with Damian over the years.

"I used to have to watch her music videos, like Wrecking Ball, a zillion times with him, so we were very familiar with who she was, and I knew I was going to like her and I do like her," she shared.

The actress shares her 24-year-old son Damian with her former partner Steve Bing.

Elizabeth and Billy Ray, who is father to six children, debuted their romance on social media in April 2025.
