Electric Avenue has announced its 2026 dates, so lock in your long weekend in Christchurch

Tell the crew if it ain't Hagley, it ain't it.

Tell the boss you're booking some time off! Electric Avenue is returning for another two-day packed weekend of music on the grounds of Hagley Park.

After turning the massive South Island festival into a two-day event this year, festival organisers are telling fans to save the date for Friday 27th and Saturday 28th February in 2026 - a perfect send-off for the summer season.

Next year's lineup has yet to be announced, but this year's festival pulled some massive headliners.

Friday’s main stage headliners were UK electronic duo Chase & Status, who brought their solid drum and bass set (you know 'Baddadan' went down a treat!). On Saturday, Kiwis had the honour of seeing the pioneers of electronic music, The Prodigy, close out the festival.

Wilkinson, The Kooks, and Rudim3ntal were also part of the 20 international artists who performed - some being exclusive to the Electric Ave billing.

And of course, we had some solid Kiwi representation, with L.A.B, Coterie, Shapeshifter, Th' Dudes and Fat Freddy's Drop bringing their best.

We can't wait to hear who heads to the 03 in 2026. With this year's sold-out festie bringing 50 artists across four stages, we're buzzing about who could be next!
