The Rock really said 'protein powder who?' when he shared his huge pre-workout breakfast on social media.
Dwyane Johnson's "power and energy breakfast" before training leg day included steak, egg whites, a tropical punch energy drink, oatmeal and even English muffins with peanut butter and jelly.
Not exactly your average spread, eh?
The 'Jungle Cruise' star uploaded a snap of his plate piled high with the unusual food combos which he was chowing down on at 6 am on a Sunday morning in Hawaii.
"Training legs (have mercy) this morning so I need the extra carbs, fats and a little sugar to optimize my workout," he wrote online.
The official menu looks like this:
Sirloin + egg whites
Oatmeal + papaya
English muffins + peanut & jelly
Tropical punch drink from Zoa Energy
"Can't tell you how anchoring and mindful these quiet moments are of island ocean sunrises," The Rock added.
"Given me amazing clarity in life, business etc. Mana is powerful. Enjoy your Sunday and YOUR CHEAT MEALS!!"
Speaking of cheat meals, the former WWE wrestler has had some epic ones. He's demolished 15 huge chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter centres in one sitting, smashed two 'big daddy' cheeseburgers with double fries one after the other and rolled through four double dough pizzas without breaking a sweat.
Maybe we should be rethinking our meal prep this week?
