Drake decided to pause his New York show at the Apollo Theatre over the weekend after a man fell from a balcony and landed on other members of the audience.
According to Variety, Drake was informed of the incident and instantly stopped his performance to tell the crowd, "I just have to make sure somebody's OK."
The fall occurred about 90 minutes into the show, just as 21 Savage was introduced to perform 'Rich Flex' along with other hits from the 'Her Loss' album collaboration.
The break lasted around 15 minutes as venue staff checked and treated the man that had fallen.
Not long after, a representative for the Apollo ensured the man wasn't seriously hurt and Drake returned to the stage.
"Unfortunately, last evening an incident occurred with an audience member who landed in the orchestra from the lower mezzanine," the Apollo Theatre said in a statement posted to Instagram.

"They were seen immediately by Emergency Medical Services on site. The fan and other audience members reported that they were OK. No major injuries have been reported. The Apollo is investigating the situation further."
Drake has not commented on the incident.
Drake announced the one-night-only concert as a collaboration with SiriusXM last October. It was originally scheduled for November 11 but was postponed to early December to mourn the loss of Migos member Takeoff, who was shot and killed a little more than a week before. The show had to be pushed a second time to January due to production problems.
The two-night event included many A-list audience members, including Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., A$AP Ferg and more.
We are glad that no one was seriously injured during this incident and the show was able to continue as planned.
