Domino’s is serving up a slice of Kiwi pride with its new Flavours of New Zealand range - pizzas inspired by classic Aotearoa tastes that'll remind you of clicking BBQ tongs and beach picnics. 

Dubbed by Domino’s as “a love letter to New Zealand”, the pizza range is to honour the great Kiwi tradition where the best memories are made when food brings whānau and friends together. 

So, what’s on the menu - and more importantly, are they any good? Here at rova HQ, we did the hard mahi of being pizza tasters to give you a heads up. 

Kiwi BBQ

Think meat-lovers with a Kiwi twist - ham, steak strips, onion, sausage, a BBQ base and a drizzle of honey mustard. For some, it was love at first bite.

“Amazing, my number one choice,” said Arju and Lisa. “Beautiful flavour - a good balance of tangy and smoky BBQ.”

"The meat tastes real, the steak's tender with a good texture, and a good balance with the sweet honey mustard," said Mike. 

Maia reckons she’d customise her pizza with twice the sausage toppings and lean into that “true Kiwi BBQ” feeling - because who hasn’t attended a backyard BBQ which had twice as many frozen sausages as people!

Kiwi Feast

This one packs it all in. We're talking chicken, bacon, steak strips, tomato, onion, mushroom and a tomato-capsicum sauce.

“Feast is right - there's a lot going on in one bite,” said Mel. "The sauce is the best part."

"I loved the chaos of this one. I didn’t know what I was eating. Is that chicken? Or mushroom? Not sure - but it tasted good. The capsicum sauce was a bitta me," said Raynor. 

"It was giving supreme energy,” added Jacob.

It’s a flavour free-for-all - chaotic, filling, and strangely satisfying if you’re indecisive or starving.

Manuka Hot Honey

A classic pepperoni base drizzled with Manuka honey and chilli flakes. Sweet, spicy, and a little bit rogue - in a good way.

“It’s got my tongue dancing! Warms up your insides and makes things tingle,” said Brodie.

“I’m a weakling with spice, but this was beautiful,” said Maia.

“I’d take this over Christmas ham at the beach,” said Mel (high praise).

Verdict: A total crowd favourite - and weirdly addictive.

Domino’s is also introducing a Saucy Chicken range, featuring wings and nuggets with “shake to coat” sauces like Apricot, BBQ, Garlic Butter and Peri Peri. Messy, fun, and dangerously snackable.

The Flavours of New Zealand and Saucy Chicken ranges are available nationwide for a limited time - so grab one before they disappear faster than the last scoop of onion dip.
