Domino's NZ hires Bitey the T-Rex after family leaves him behind - and he's gone viral

How adorable is this little pizza-maker?!

Domino's Pizza has employed 'Bitey the T-Rex' after the little guy was left behind in a foyer by a family.

The pizza chain shared a Facebook post to announce their latest employee, telling followers: "It was getting late, and looking like Bitey wasn't going to make it home for bedtime.

"The team assured Bitey's family was in good hands, and he was sent home with plenty of stories to tell about his first shift at Domino's the next day." They also shared some photos of Bitey on the job, and they're pretty adorable.

He's taking orders, saucing the pizza, washing dishes, working the phones, and even had the time to sit back and admire his work.

He's got to be feeling dino-sore after all that! Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves. It's not just pizza-related tasks that Bitey can complete. Many commenters took to the FB post to share stories about how the little dinosaur helped them out. "Bitey not only had great customer service but he also saved my dog from a house fire. Great job Bitey," said one satisfied customer. Another Bitey beneficiary said that the dinosaur took on the gardening for them, and provided them with a pizza without being asked for one!

"Bitey not only distributed all of the pizza ingredients perfectly across my supreme pizza, he also stacked my firewood and cleaned my gutters before delivering a rousing motivational speech as guest speaker at a support group. Thanks again Bitey!" shared yet another person who Bitey has gone above and beyond for. During these tough times, it's amazing to see a stalwart examplar of what it means to be a New Zealander - Bitey is the Kiwi spirit personified (dino-ified?).
