Domenico Cortesi's Quail Breeding Journey From Italy To NZ

"My nonna gave me two quails when I was five... For 70 years I've bred quails all over the world," Domenico Cortesi tells Dom George.

Hailing from an Italian estate that has been in the family for 400 years, Domenico Cortesi now plies his trade as a Quail breeder in Dunedin, although he likes to return home for a white Christmas most years.

He joins Dom George to talk about his journey from the South of Europe to the South of New Zealand, with many stops in between, the unique nature of quail breeding and more.
