Doja Cat, Tems and J Balvin to headline first-ever FIFA Club World Cup halftime show

Doja Cat and J Balvin are set to take the stage for the first-ever halftime show at the FIFA Club World Cup final.

On Monday, it was confirmed that Doja, J Balvin and Tems would be the headline acts at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final, which will be the first time the sporting event has featured a halftime extravaganza.

Produced by Global Citizen and curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the show will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 13 July and will be broadcast worldwide for free via DAZN.com.

In a new statement, Colombian singer J Balvin, real name José Balvín, shared his excitement about headlining the upcoming event.

"From Medellín to MetLife - I'm honoured to headline the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final," he wrote. "It's a historic moment, fo

r me, for Latin culture and for every kid who dreams big."

Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems, real name Temilade Openiyi, added, "We're going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment."

"To celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund," she continued. "I can't wait - see you at the Club World Cup final."

Alongside the performances, Global Citizen will use the event to raise awareness and funds to help end extreme poverty. The initiative aims to generate $100 million (£74 million) to give children better access to education and football facilities.

The revamped FIFA Club World Cup will take place in the U.S. from 14 June to 13 July, with the world's top 32 club teams competing across 11 cities.
