Disney has announced the two leads of the live‑action version of 'Tangled'. Aussie actor Teagan Croft is stepping into Rapunzel’s shoes, and Milo Manheim will play the roguish Flynn Rider.
Posting a photo of the two, Disney wrote: "Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the live-action reimagining of Disney’s Tangled. Coming only to theaters."
If those names sound familiar, that’s because Croft has been impressing on screen as Raven in Titans and in Netflix’s True Spirit, and Manheim is a familiar face from Disney’s Zombies franchise.
This casting marks a pretty big moment in Disney’s quest to bring its animated classics into live action. Tangled has been one of the more hyped projects, especially after a brief pause in development.
There’s no official release date yet, but fans are already letting their hair down with excitement.
Tangled was a huge hit when it first came out in 2010, with Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi voicing Rapunzel and Flynn. The live‑action version is expected to keep the musical vibes alive and bring fresh energy to the beloved story.
And hey, it’s always fun to imagine how iconic songs like I See the Light will feel in real life - it's gonna be so beautiful.
Fans have shared their excitement regarding the live-action film and especially the casting.
