Deva' Actor Rohullah Mehdi Arrested in Mumbai Drug Bust

Actor and model Rohullah Mehdi, known for his role alongside Shahid Kapoor in the 2025 film Deva, has been arrested by the Mira-Bhayandar Police in connection with an alleged drug trafficking case. Mehdi and an associate were taken into custody after law enforcement intercepted them with 28 grams of illicit drugs.

• The Operation: Acting on a specific tip-off that Mehdi was traveling to Dahisar Check Naka for a drug transaction, Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Kamble of the Kashimira Police Station deployed a specialized team to conduct surveillance and execute the bust.

• Background: Originally hailing from the Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, Mehdi had been residing in Goregaon, Mumbai, pursuing acting projects across feature films and web series.

• Legal Status: Following their arrest, Mehdi and his accomplice were produced before a local court and remanded to five days of police custody.

Investigators are currently probing the broader network behind the operation to trace the supply chain and identify potential high-profile buyers linked to the actor.
