A new year brings a few new milestones, and these 5 DnB tracks just hit a big one.
UKF posted a video to Instagram highlighting the 15th anniversary of these 5 timeless tracks (yes, back in 2009) so why not take a trip down memory lane and have a look at these bangers.
1. Deadmau5 - I Remember (J Majick & Wickaman remix)
An already great tune, remixed into something magical by J Majick & Wickaman. They turned it into a wild ride of beauuuutiful vocals and a beat that still hits just as hard today.
2. Dirtyphonics - Vandals
This one by the Vandals is like a shot of pure energy, capturing the essence of the mid-2000s electronic scene. It's loud, it's proud, and it's still got us going a bit feral for it.
"15 years already? that one hurts" one Instagram user commented.
3. Netsky - Tomorrow's Another Day (VIP)
Netsky's remix takes the original to new heights, with a wee blend of liquid drum and bass making it a timeless track.
One instagram user left a comment "Them Netsky tunes still hit different, soundtrack of my teenager years."
4. Sub Focus - Rock It
One of the most iconic tunes from the mid 2000's right here. With a baseline like that, no wonder it still goes hard.
"I listened to that sub focus album on repeat when I was commuting as a fresh faced young man in his first proper full time job," One Instagram user commented.
"F*** I wish I could go back to that, hearing those 5 seconds just gave me a massive flashback."
5. Miike Snow - Black & Blue (Netsky remix)
Lucky last we've got Miike Snow's 'Black & Blue', given the Netsky treatment. I mean, what can't this guy remix? Happy 15th Birthday to this banger.
"This was a sobering reminder of my age." Another Instagram user commented.
Cheers to these 5 tracks that remind us good music knows no expiration date!
