Cyndi Lauper has blasted a heckler who interrupted her opening night in Las Vegas.
The Time After Time singer fired back mid-show, with an expletive-laced response that drew cheers from the crowd.
The moment unfolded at The Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace, where Lauper was launching Cyndi Lauper: Live in Las Vegas, a limited engagement running until 2 May.
While introducing her song Sally's Pigeons, the two-time Grammy winner was interrupted by a heckler and jumped on it straight away.
"I don't know what the f**k you're saying, hon," Lauper said in a video from the show. "But please remember where you are, OK? Because if you're trying to shade me, bi**h, I'm gonna come for you.
"I'm from Brooklyn, and if I wanna f**king talk, I will do a tap dance if I f**king want. Sorry, that of course is not part of my people skills."
The crowd responded with applause, and Lauper moved forward with the performance.
The residency marks a new chapter for the True Colours singer following her 69-date Girls Just Want to Have Fun farewell tour, which wound up in August 2025.
Although she has previously indicated she would be stepping back from touring, she has continued to make live appearances, including a recent Hollywood Bowl show that was recorded for a TV special honouring her career.
Lauper was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November.
