Creech, A.K.A. K-Hole’s brother, just told us the insane yarn of the time he was stabbed in the neck while working in Lisbon, Portugal.

Creech is currently filling in on The Morning Rumble for Producer Ryan, and with that, he’s bringing some hectic stories to the table. What began as a routine end to a late shift at a bar in Lisbon turned into a violent encounter that left him in hospital with stab wounds.
“I was working at a bar in the middle of Lisbon,” Creech said, “and when we clock off around 3 a.m., we get a little staff drink to celebrate, you know, what was a hard day's work. They put it in a little plastic cup. You can go outside and drink it.”
He and his coworkers were doing just that when the night took a strange turn.
“We're just out there having our staffy. Then all of a sudden, this guy walks past, nicks my manager's beer, but then he does it so hard that it just goes all over me,” he said.
Creech and his workmates laugh the ordeal off - an ordeal which left Creech covered in beer - which really isn’t that big of deal in the grand scheme of things.
After the incident, Creech, sober after a long shift, headed to the bus stop to go home. “Probably only about max ten minutes” had passed, when Creech noticed something.
“I'm waiting at the bus stop, and then I see the same guy, and I see him holding in his right hand a plastic cup of beer,” he said. “I don't know what came over me, but I was like, you know what? I'm going to be a bit of a vigilante here.”
With a smile, he approached the man. “I go up to him and I go to grab the beer… I had a big smile on my face and I was like, ‘Hey, that's not your beer, mate.’”
What happened next, nobody saw coming.
“In his left hand, already pre-locked and loaded… he had a bottleneck, a broken bottleneck, and he pushed it straight up against my throat,” Creech explained. “At the time, because I couldn't see it, it felt like he was just pinching my Adam's apple. I was like, this guy's weird, man. I thought he was doing the Wuxi Finger Hold from Kung Fu Panda.”
After the initial shock, shit escalated further.
“When I felt him kind of pinching or like pressing up against me… I was like, what the hell? I pushed him off, and I was like, ‘Oh, bugger off, mate.’ And then he just goes for one fell swoop, a stabbing motion into the lower left part of my neck.”
The weapon - a broken beer bottle - dropped to the ground, and the man fled.
Creech started ‘bleeding profusely’ out of his neck, his workmates gathered around him, and was rushed to hospital.
Despite the severity of the attack, Creech remained upright at first. “They told me to get down because I… didn’t really feel it in the heat of the moment. So much adrenaline was pumping. And then someone goes, ‘Oh, you've got a lot of blood coming out of your neck.’”
Luckily, the man didn’t get Creech’s carotid or Adam’s apple. “It wasn’t squirting, thank goodness. I think if it was, that would have been game over. But it was kind of oozing out quite a fair bit and going all over me neck.”
Asked when the pain set in, Creech recalled, “Probably not even till after I got to the hospital, to be honest. There's just the shock, and just everyone was around me and I was applying pressure.”
It goes without saying, Creech made a good recovery and is all good. But man, what a hectic yarn.
