Courtney Love and Melissa Auf der Maur have teased on Instagram that they might have plans to bring Hole back onstage.
Love shared a compilation video of Auf der Maur on the social media platform, set to Hole's 1999 song Malibu.
"So do we tell the kids about the tour," the singer wrote while tagging her former bandmate.
Auf der Maur shared the post to her Instagram Stories, writing, "Find me xo."
The alternative rock band was founded by Love and guitarist Eric Erlandson in 1989, with Auf der Maur joining as a bassist in 1994. Past members also include Patty Schemel and Kristen Pfaff.
The rock band released its debut album, Pretty on the Inside, in 1991, followed by 1994's Live Through This and 1998's Celebrity Skin.
Celebrity Skin received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.
Auf der Maur left Hole in 1999 and joined The Smashing Pumpkins. Hole broke up in 2002 and was briefly reformed in 2010 by Love.
Love and Auf der Maur reunited in the studio for the first time in 24 years in 2024.
As for whether a Hole reunion is actually happening, in a 2021 interview with Vogue, Love insisted it would "absolutely not" happen.
"And you guys have gotta get over it."
But in 2024, the singer performed with Billie Joe Armstrong's cover band The Coverups and told the crowd, "Later, I'll be back in Hole."
