Christmas in the Park is searching for talented Kiwis to hit the stage - who can audition?

Yes we are already thinking about Christmas!

It may only be April, but Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park is gearing up to find the next round of talented Kiwis to bring their skills to the stage.

The hunt is on for performers to bring their A-game and join the crew at this year's ultimate festive tradition in Christchurch and Auckland.

Auditions are now open to solo singers (aged 13 years and above) and inspirational vocal, dance, and performance groups (with members aged 8 years and older).

Unfortunately, they aren't looking for solo dancers, instrumentalists, or bands (covers or originals) this year.

But, if you have a dance crew of 12 members or fewer or a singing group with 8 or fewer members, you're in with a shot!

Christchurch auditions kick off on Saturday the 15th of June before heading to Auckland on Sunday the 16th of June.

If you're thinking about it, just know you're gonna have to clear your calendar because there's a whole load of practice dates to add to your schedule - but that's showbiz, right?!

Dixon Nacey, the creative mastermind behind the show, is eager to discover new stars and shine a light on our home-grown talent.

"It's a great opportunity to be part of a show that has helped to fast-track the careers of many successful Kiwi entertainers and given thousands of talented performers the chance to work with and learn from some of the country's best."

So, if you believe you or someone you know deserves the spotlight, give them a nudge to apply online.
