Chase & Status Announce Tracklist for New Album ‘Generic Everything’

'Generic Everything' releases October 9th

Chase & Status are back with a brand-new album, Generic Everything, landing 9 October 2026 — and they’ve kicked things off with a fresh single, “Gone Too Far” featuring Debbie.

The 10-track record sees the UK electronic heavyweights continue their run of genre-defying collaborations, bringing together some of the biggest and most distinctive names across UK music. Guests include J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, Finesse Kid, IRAH, Col3trane, Ledbyher, Saam Sultan, and Debbie.

Posters started to appear earlier this week around London teasing the album title.

Following the recent J Hus and IRAH collaboration, “Disgruntled”, the album promises more of the trademark Chase & Status blend of rave, rap, soundsystem culture, and electronic music.

The duo say Generic Everything is about resisting “the pressure to become the same as everyone else.”

In a world shaped by AI, algorithms and endless content, creativity is constantly being pushed towards what’s familiar, safe and predictable.

The cube is our symbol for that pressure; a place where original ideas are squeezed into the same shape.

This album is about pushing back. Every song, visual, and show is an attempt to break out of the cube and create something that feels genuinely different.

The idea isn’t simply that creativity is trapped. It’s that it’s being forced to conform.

The release continues an already massive 2026 for the pair, who have dropped collaborations with Pozer, Blade Brown, and Lancey Foux, played their debut set on the Tomorrowland mainstage, while also taking their experimental SECTION 63 live concept to Australia.

And the momentum isn’t slowing down. After headlining Silverstone’s British Grand Prix and their surprise Boomtown B2B with Skrillex, Chase & Status are set to headline the Main Stage at Reading & Leeds this summer.

With more than 2.5 billion global streams, a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year and over two decades at the forefront of UK dance music, Generic Everything looks set to kick off another huge chapter for Chase & Status.

The boys shared a story giving fans the exclusive chance to be among the very first to hear the album. First-listen pop-ups are hitting London, Manchester, and New York. But best of all? New Zealand hasn't been left out!
