Cardi B and blogger Tasha K have reached a settlement in their latest legal dispute.

Court documents show the Am I the Drama singer has agreed to accept $60,000 (£45,000) instead of the $110,000+ (£83,000) she originally requested for violation of an earlier legal ruling.

Under the deal, Tasha K will pay the money in two equal instalments: one within 28 days of the court order; and the remainder by 31 December.

The dispute began after a court found that Tasha K violated her 'non-disparagement' agreement by making public comments about Cardi B's former husband Offset.

The original beef started back in 2019 when Cardi B sued the YouTube gossip blogger over defamatory videos claiming the rapper had herpes, engaged in prostitution, and used cocaine.

In 2022, a federal jury sided with Cardi B, ordering Tasha K to pay nearly $4 million (£3 million) in damages and permanently barring her from repeating the false claims.

Tasha K filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023 but a judge ruled that the debt could not be discharged, and the two reached a repayment agreement requiring Tasha K to pay $1.2 million (£900,000) over five years. This ruling is not affected by the latest penalty.

This latest judgement also reiterated earlier rulings that Tasha K cannot speak publicly about Cardi B, Offset or Stefon Diggs.
