Cardi B has confirmed she had her butt injections "reduced" two years ago following online speculation about her appearance.

Taking to Instagram Live this week, the I Like It rapper revealed she had some of the cosmetic treatment on her bottom, often known as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), dissolved in January 2024.

"A lot of y'all keep telling me to go get my a*s reduced. I don't need to go get my a*s reduced, news flash, I did get my a*s reduced," she began, according to footage obtained by People. "I'm very, very honest. First of all, I got two lipos and one a*s reduction."

Cardi, real name Belcalis Almánzar, went on to insist that she has no desire to undergo any further cosmetic surgery right now.

"(I) can't just go and lipo my butt because my skin is like kinda loose," the 33-year-old continued, emphasising that's "why my a*s shakes so much".

Elsewhere in the candid discussion, the Up hitmaker recalled how she decided to change the appearance of her bottom because of her petite frame.

"First thing first, I am a small girl," she added. "I'm a very small, petite girl. My mom is petite. My sister's petite. My aunts are small."

Previously, Cardi shared that she had biopolymer injections, which are made from silicone-based fillers not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), when she was 21.

Earlier this week, the music superstar announced that she will release her new single, Ah Ha, on Friday.

"Out THIS FRIDAY at midnight... meet me at the club," she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
