Calvin Harris's fans were left divided by his graphic social media post.
The DJ and new father's baby announcement had audiences polarised.
Superstar producer Calvin, 41, posted a carousel of images marking the 20 July arrival of his son Micah this week; however, fans had mixed opinions over the photos he chose to include.
The post began with an image of Calvin holding baby Micah, and others of his wife Vick Hope, 35, in an inflatable, outdoor home-birthing pool surrounded by candles and flowers.

However, some fans were perturbed by the next photos in the gallery: a close-up of the placenta, or "after birth", followed by shots of the placenta chopped up and in a dehydrator, and finally a jar of capsules containing the dried, powdered organ.
We haven't added the images of the process here - they are quite full on - but you can see them HERE.
"Congrats on the baby but the placenta pics are TMI," one follower commented, while another agreed that the "first two pics would've been enough."
"So are we pretending to just ignore that lady's guts at the end?" another queried, with a fourth adding, "Didn't expect to see a full on placenta pic whilst eating my lunch today".
"Swiping: 'Oh wow!.... That's amazing.... Congratula.... WHAT THE F\*\*K!?'" one wrote.
Others were more positive about the photos, with many praising Calvin for "normalising" the birth process.
"Thank you for normalising home birth (and placentas!) with these beautiful pictures," one fan gushed. "What a dream."
