Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have teamed up for the third time - but this latest collaborative effort might sound a little different to what you're used to.
While the duo last teamed up nearly 10 years ago with 2014's 'Outside' and 2012's 'I Need Your Love', you could easily mistake their latest effort 'Miracle' for being 20 or even 30 years old thanks to its 90s inspired sound.
The 143 BPM trance banger combines Goulding's haunting vocal with a four-to-the-floor drum pattern and signature keys reminiscent of Robert Miles' Children. It's a three minute long time capsule that was buried in the early 90s and uncovered in 2023.
'It's great to see artists like Fred Again and Calvin Harris tipping their hats to the genre of Trance,' George Breakfast host General Lee said. 'I've been waiting for the day that it would return to international radio waves and dance floors.
'Uplifting emotional tunes is what the world always needs.'
As for his early memories of the genre, he had this to say.
'Trance was introduced to me through the Lagered compilations mixed by Sample Gee. Incredible dance floor moments at the Saint James theatre.'
