Callum Turner has told how starting a family with new wife Dua Lipa is a priority.

The couple got married in a small London ceremony in May, followed by a big wedding in June in Sicily.

"It was amazing, and it was... it was the most beautiful day of my life," Turner told Esquire magazine. "We went to the park yesterday, and everyone who walked past said, 'Congratulations.' It was pretty surreal."

When he was asked what he would like to see from his life over the next 10 years, Turner told how the couple would like to start a family, saying it was a "priority" for the pair.

"Obviously, yeah, I'm 36. I'd like to have a family and raise some kids," he said.

Dua, 30, has previously spoken about her desire to become a mum. "I'd love to have kids one day," she has said, telling The Blast that "It will happen when it happens."

The couple officially tied the knot in May at Old Marylebone Town Hall, where the Dance The Night singer wore custom Schiaparelli and a Bulgari necklace. After the ceremony, the couple got in a black cab, as they were cheered off by family members. Their big celebration in Sicily the following month caused road closures and came with heavy security; something locals weren't impressed by, with many coming out to protest.

One placard read, "Palermo is not for rent. Public spaces belong to everyone."
