We all used to play with our food, right? Even though we've been taught by our parents and have most likely passed on the same rule to our children, one restaurant is throwing that all out the window and letting you build your food like Lego.
Brick Burger is a new pop-up restaurant offering Kiwis the chance to get hands-on with their food - literally.

Popping-up in Tamaki Makaurau this July-September, Brick Burger promises a one-of-a-kind experience ideal for the whole family.
While dining in their restaurant you can build your own burger using their colourful brick-like buns - though we hope they're softer than they sound.
The restaurant said: "the menu will feature a range of classic and specialty bricks made from fresh and high-quality ingredients, from beef patties to chicken fillets to a hearty vegetarian option."

They continued: "Our brick-themed restaurant is designed to immerse you in a playful and exciting world of bricks, with colourful brick walls, LEGO-themed furniture and even a brick building station where you can let your imagination run wild and create your own designs."
If you love to get your competitive side out, you're in luck because Brick Burger will also be hosting weekly brick-building competitions and a little birdy told me there are some prizes up for grabs.
Honestly, I'm ready to channel my inner child and get stuck right into it!
Early bird tickets are available now for $23 ticket. One ticket includes one burger and one drink (wine/beer/soft drink).
