Brett Eldredge announces marriage to 'amazing woman'

Brett Eldredge has revealed that he tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony.

Taking to his Instagram on Monday, the American country music singer-songwriter announced his marriage to an "amazing" bride, whose name he has kept private.

"Over the last several years, life and my perception of it have changed drastically. I met an amazing woman who truly loves me for me, way beyond the fella with a microphone," he shared.

Calling his wife "just as goofy as I am," the Songs About You crooner shared that she is "someone who loves weird barefoot dance-offs in the living room, looking up at the night sky and wondering what lies beyond what we cannot see."

She is "someone I can have rolling belly laughs with, cry with, and go through life's tilt-a-whirl of emotions with. Someone who inspires me with her big, beautiful heart," he gushed.

Eldredge is now looking forward to "so many amazing things ahead" with his wife and feels "so grateful I have such a beautiful soul to share it all with".

Eldredge confirmed that somewhere "along the way, we got married" without sharing any further details.

The country star is best known for his seasonal music, most notably his popular holiday album Glow and a well-known cover of Baby, It's Cold Outside with Meghan Trainor.
