Brazilian football great Ronaldinho is the face of BoohooMAN's new World Cup fashion collection.

The Ballon d'Or and two-time FIFA World Player of the Year winner, who announced his return to football earlier this week, has teamed up with the online menswear brand to model its new clothing collection amid this year's World Cup tournament.

Inspired by retro football culture, the collection channels the creativity, confidence and colour that made the midfielder one of the game's most joyful players.

"Football has always been about joy and self-expression for me, and that is what this collection is about. To share it with fans in the UK during a World Cup summer is special," said Ronaldinho in a statement.

"Ronaldinho played the game with joy, and that runs through every piece. Dropping it in a World Cup summer, at prices anyone can reach, is BOOHOOMAN at its best," added Samir Kamani, founder of BOOHOOMAN.

Ronaldinho, who was paid a whopping seven figures to front the campaign, models a retro yellow and green striped Brazil football shirt, long and regular-sleeved T-shirts, grey jorts, baggy green shorts and an embossed moto jacket.

The World Cup collection, which ranges in price between £12 and £80, is on sale now, only at BOOHOOMAN.com.

Ronaldinho made his career debut in 1998 and went on to play for clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan. He also played for Brazil between 1999 and 2013 and was part of the squad when they won the World Cup in 2002.

Earlier this week, the 46-year-old announced he was coming out of retirement after more than a decade to play for Italian Serie C club Ravenna.
